Many were called into positions within the church and everybody was called to belong and to contribute to a life and fellowship together. In 1 Corinthians 12 the Apostle Paul begins to relate how people of different talents and abilities must come together in unity and service to each other.

The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ.1 Corinthians 12:12

It's always good to honour those who step forward and contribute to the work that needs to be done in the church.
